Emporio Armani heeft zijn schoeiselcollectie door de jaren heen consequent ontwikkeld in de richting van precisie en materialenkennis. Waar veel merken bij sneakers terugvallen op canvas of synthetische bovenmateriaal, kiest Emporio Armani consequent voor volwaardig leer — ook wanneer de schoen in formaat en profiel dichter bij streetwear ligt dan bij klassiek schoeisel.

Deze Emporio Armani sneakers zijn opgebouwd uit 100% glad kalfsleer en onderscheiden zich door de toepassing van thermoformingtechnologie: de reliïfs en panelen op de schoen zijn niet genaaid maar onder hitte en druk gevormd direct in het leer. Dit resulteert in een naadloos oppervlak dat strakker en schoner oogt dan elke variant met zichtbare stiksels zou kunnen. De zwarte kleur is egaal aangebracht over het gehele bovenleer, wat het silhouet versterkt en de thermogevormde textuurdetails beter laat uitkomen dan op een lichtgekleurde versie. De rubberen buitenzool is licht geprofileerd voor grip en heeft voldoende dikte om de schoen te voorzien van een eigentijdse proportie. Het metalen Armani-logo op de zijkant is de enige merkmarkering — bewust minimaal en precies in lijn met de Armani-filosofie van ingehouden luxe.

Mixes my protein shake powder

Less plastic, less clean-up, dependable (so far), and small, making it convenient even for travel. I'm really glad I got this, and hope it will last. One last thing, do not turn it on while cleaning under running water. (Yes, you can laugh.)
