Substraat Perliet is een hoogwaardige, anorganische potgrondverbeteraar die al jarenlang wordt toegepast in de professionele tuinbouw en nu ook beschikbaar is voor particulier gebruik. Perliet verbetert de luchtigheid van potgrond en zorgt voor een optimale wortelomgeving.

Perliet ontstaat door verhitting van natuurlijk vulkanisch gesteente, waardoor het sterk expandeert en veel lucht bevat. Hierdoor wordt het luchtgehalte in potgrond verhoogd en ontstaat een betere drainage. Dit voorkomt natte voeten en stimuleert een gezonde wortelontwikkeling. Met een pH-waarde van circa 6,5 is perliet breed inzetbaar voor diverse toepassingen.

Dankzij de lage bulkdichtheid is substraat perliet uitermate geschikt voor potten, bakken en dakterrassen. Het verlaagt het gewicht van potgrond zonder in te boeten op structuur en stabiliteit. Hierdoor is het ideaal voor situaties waar gewicht een belangrijke rol speelt.

Substraat Perliet is gecertificeerd volgens RHP/ECAS en FIBL en daardoor geschikt voor gebruik in de biologische teelt. Een duurzame en betrouwbare keuze voor professionele én particuliere kwekers.
