De Spanjaarden hebben jarenlang deze wijn voor zichzelf gehouden, maar nu kan de hele wereld gaan genieten van Pazo das Bruxas Albarino Torres. De druif wordt meer en meer aangeplant. Zo heeft Torres ook op de mooiste plekjes in Galicie deze lievelingsdruif aangeplant. Pazo das Bruxas Albarino is verrassend, smaakvol en alom geliefd. Na een slok wil je niets anders meer.

De geur en smaak van Albarino

Pazo das Bruxas Albarino is fris en fruitig. Een wijn waar je zeker verliefd op wordt. IN de geur ontdek je je iets van abrikozen en perzik in combinatie met een bloemig karakter. Een genot voor het reukorgaan. Neem een slok en je snapt meteen, waarom de Spanjaarden zo’n fan van deze witte wijn zijn. Subtiel en fris. Fruitig en ziltig. Subtiele tonen van abrikozen en perzik samen met mineralen en grapefruit vormen een prachtig geheel.

Eten met Pazo das Bruxas

Albarino is een excellente begeleider bij diverse gerechten. Mede door haar ziltige karakter past zij extreem goed bij van alles uit de zee. Schaal- en schelpdieren maar ook sushi en diverse zout-watervissen smaken excellent met Pazo das Bruxas Albarino. Torres bevestigt met deze witte wijn uit Spanje haar vakmanschap in het Spaanse wijnlandschap.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
