Het bevat een bijzonder betrouwbaar ratelkoppelingssysteem dat de ketting stabiliseert op ruwe stukken. De architectuur van aluminium en staal biedt uitstekende schokbestendigheid en zorgt voor soepel en nauwkeurig schakelen, zelfs onder zware belasting.

Wat is het belangrijkste verschil tussen de MX-serie en de X-serie? De MX serie (RD-M7005M) onderscheidt zich door de mogelijkheid om te werken met 10V en 11V transmissies, wat een grotere vrijheid van montage biedt waar de X serie vaak beperkt is tot zijn eigen 10-speed ecosysteem.

Is het geschikt voor intensief gebruik? Absoluut. De versterkte constructie maakt hem ideaal voor mountainbiken, lichte Enduro of Gravel, waar betrouwbaarheid van de aandrijving van het grootste belang is.

Werkt het met een 50-tands cassette? De officiële limiet is 48 tanden. Hoewel een 50-tands set-up soms kan werken, afhankelijk van de geometrie van je derailleurhanger, is het aan te raden om een 48T te gebruiken om optimaal soepel te kunnen schakelen en voortijdige slijtage te voorkomen.

Hoe stel ik de hardheid van de koppeling af? Het koppelingssysteem van de MX-serie is toegankelijk en kan worden aangepast om de spanning te verhogen of te verlagen, afhankelijk van het terrein dat je verkiest (steviger voor breekbaar mountainbiken, zachter voor gravel).

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
