Zijn opa maakte vroeger al op zeer kleine schaal wijnen in de kelder van het appartementen complex waar hij woonden. Hierbij maakte hij gebruik van zelfgemaakte betonnen tanks. Om deze traditie voort te zetten was Francis Ford Coppola opzoek naar een zomerhuis met een grote kelder waarbij hij op dezelfde wijze wijn kon maken zoals zijn opa ooit had opgeschreven. Dit liep echter iets verder uit de hand, de Francis Ford Coppola Winery was geboren! En niet geheel zonder succes, wat een mooie wijnen!De oude wijngaard van Coppola
Terug naar de Zinfandel. Een druif die we maar in weinig landen tegenkomen. Voornamelijk in Amerika en in Zuid Italië maar dan onder de naam Primitivo. De Zinfandel druiven voor deze Diamond Collection groeien op in verschillende gebieden. O te beginnen aan zeer oude ranken in Amador County daarnaast nog in Paso Robles en Sonoma County. Doordat er in Paso Robles weinig regenval is krijgen de druiven hierdoor veel diepgang wat zeker weer merkbaar is deze rode wijn. Na het vinificatie proces mag deze heerlijke Amerikaanse wijn door rijpen op eikenhouten vaten. Anders dan men zou verwachten gebruikt Coppola hiervoor Franse eikenhouten vaten. Deze zorgen voor meer zachtheid en souplesse in de wijn. Inmiddels nieuwsgierig? Wij wel!Hoe smaakt de Zinfandel van Coppola?
De kleur is prachtig diep robijnrood. In de geur ontdekten we in deze Francis Coppola Zinfandel een zwoele geur met veel kruidigheid, frambozen en kersen maar ook een beetje vanille. Een boeket aan intense geuren! De Zinfandel druif is heel goed te ruiken, super. In de smaak is het net als in de geur een plaatje, veel rijkdom en zachtheid, met tonen van confiture, peper, room en lichte kruidigheid. Maar vooral rijp en zacht! De afdronk is fenomenaal, zacht en tegelijk ook heerlijk vol.Shipping Notes

The best thing you can use in a Tahoe! Period!

This is like liquid gold for your vehicle,it's molecular make up,is far superior to any oil out there,as it gets hot,it's molecules bind to every component inside your engine and attaches itself to the metal and fills in the stress points,all points really,it basically soaks into the metals,and is by far the most long lasting and does not break down like other oils,I get 10k off one oil change and I have 273,000 miles on my 03 Tahoe and this stuff is incredible I don't have any ticks,clicks,knocks, Nothing,not on fire up,cold start,my truck runs about five degrees cooler,I get a couple more miles to the gallon and my motor purrs like new,I could probably go 12-15k between oil changes,but I change it with the filter at 10K a new AC Delco pf46e and a 5-1/4 qt jug of liquid moly 5-30 full synthetic a new crush washer and I'm good for 10,000 miles Easily.
