Een goed onderhouden accu gaat tot drie keer langer mee dan een accu die regelmatig leeg of half geladen blijft staan. Sluit de lader simpelweg aan op de accuklemmen, kies een laadprogramma en de lader doet zelf de rest. Een onmisbaar apparaat voor elke booteigenaar die wil voorkomen dat het vaarseizoen begint met een lege accu.
