Oude, antieke landkaart van de VII provinciën. Titel en uitgeversimpressum in grote rococo-cartouche linksboven. In de Noordzee een kompasroos en rechtsonder de schaalstokken in rococo-omlijsting. Rugzijde blank.
Oudtijds gekleurde kopergravure, uitgegeven in 1772 te Augsburg in Atlas novus sive Tabulæ geographicæ totius Orbis (...), Tobias Conrad Lotter. Opvallend aan de kaart is het gegeven dat deze werd vervaardigd door Lotter zelf, hetgeen vrij uitzonderlijk is omdat Lotter voor het merendeel koperplaten van zijn schoonvader Mattheus Seutter opnieuw uitgaf.
