Rosso rubino con riflessi porpora. Al naso si avvertono profumi di ciliegia e di prugne, su uno sfondo di vaniglia e cioccolato; al sorso è intenso, strutturato, caldo.

È con i vini della linea Talò che le Cantine San Marzano raccontano parte dell’essenza più vera del Salento. Il Primitivo di Manduria, vera e propria bandiera non solo di questo spicchio di Puglia ma anche di tutta la regione, lo dimostra alla perfezione: si tratta infatti di rosso straordinariamente espressivo, fruttato, ben bilanciato tra un certo calore e una piacevole freschezza gustativa. Un Primitivo la cui vinificazione avviene in vasche di acciaio e la cui maturazione continua per circa 6 mesi in barrique di rovere francese.

Ideale a tutto pasto, si abbina con secondi di carne alla brace e formaggi a pasta dura.
