My gothic bats place mat, featuring my original pen and ink illustration of a flock of flying bats, striking and stylish black and white design, and wonderfully gothic. I loved designing this bats place mat here by hand in my small UK based studio, bats are a great favourite of mine and they often appear in my work here at Teeth and Claws. This flying bats design makes for a wonderfully atmospheric piece of table art, useful too! My place mats are all made here in the UK, in small sustainable quantities, made from thick eucalyptus hardboard and cork backed (for no slippage!) with a glossy melamine finish, which is heat and stain resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth — practical as well as beautiful!
