The new Stalker Scorpion piston for the SRS!

Key features:

  • Modular piston with adjustable weight (from ~65 to 148 grams)
  • Silences your SRS
  • Increases joule/FPS consistency
  • Adjustable airbrakes for optimal fine-tuning
  • SRS short-stroke option for faster reloads and shorter bolt pull.
  • Works with Open Piston Sear

The piston includes 2 adjustable airbrakes for optimal fine-tuning according to your setup.

  • 1 short 3.80 mm airbrake (optimal for 2J and 3J~ or higher).
  • 1 long 3.80 mm airbrake (optimal for 2J~ or lower).

A High Joule (shiny) piston head is included for higher joule output and a lighter bolt pull.
Use lubricant for perfect results; we recommend motor oil, silicone grease, or similar. As a reference, a Rapax Lightpull Blue 2J+ spring delivers 2.2–2.3~ joules in an SRS with a Stalker SRS cylinder and a 420 mm inner barrel. The original cylinder will produce fewer joules. Results may vary depending on the cylinder used.

Golden installation rules

  • Always apply a drop of oil or silicone grease to the edge of the head to achieve optimal joules.
  • For 2.3J setups, we recommend starting with the short airbrake and fully unscrewing it.
  • For 2.8J+ setups, we recommend starting with the short airbrake and fully screwing it in.
  • Always set your hop-up correctly for your desired BB weight and adjust it to shoot straight.
  • Higher joules = shorter airbrake
  • Lower joules = longer airbrake
  • Choose your airbrake and start low, then increase (unscrew) gradually until the setup becomes quiet.
  • When you begin losing joules, you know you are just past the perfect airbrake position; screw it back in slightly to regain joules and achieve the quietest setup.
  • Works best with the Stalker SRS cylinder

Good setups require adjustable airbrakes because too many parts in your rifle can change the piston acceleration speed. Spring power, bucking hardness, barrel length, piston weight, etc. We also recommend purchasing some spring guide spacers to fine-tune piston weight and spring joules.

Included in this kit:

  • 1x Stalker stainless steel Scorpion spring guide (with engraved Stalker logo)
  • 1x Dampening rubber to place inside the rear of the Stalker spring guide
  • 1x High Joule piston head (shiny)
  • 1x Extreme Silent Cup (matte finish)
  • 1x Aluminum piston head.
  • 1x Stainless steel piston head.
  • 5x Aluminum weights.
  • 4x Stainless steel weights.
  • Sear made of stainless steel (15 grams)
  • 2 Adjustable airbrakes (long and short)
  • 1x Nut to lock the airbrake setting
  • 10 O-rings for between the weights or stock to prevent the weights from loosening during play.
  • 2 spring guide O-rings for SRS A2 buttpad
  • Front and rear POM guide rings

Detailed information:

The Scorpion piston is a unique concept in which 6 weights form the actual body. Since the piston itself is made up of these weights, it is also possible to extend the piston with additional weights (short-stroke), which in turn reduces your cylinder volume and joule output, but makes cocking your SRS much shorter with each added weight—at the cost of joule output, which can be compensated with a stronger spring.

The piston comes with 9 body weights that are interchangeable to perfectly configure your SRS.

  • 5 black anodized aluminum body weights, each piece weighs: 3 grams
  • 4 polished stainless steel body weights, each piece weighs: 11 grams

Additionally, the piston also includes 2 head weight versions.

  • 1x Black anodized aluminum head weighing: 7 grams
  • 1x Polished stainless steel head weighing: 17 grams

List of 6-piece configurations:
(The fifth stainless steel mid-section weight is sold separately if you wish to use the full heavy steel configurations)

  • SRS Scorpion 62g (1 aluminum head, 5 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 76g (1 aluminum head, 1 steel mid section, 4 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 80g (1 steel head, 5 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 89g (1 aluminum head, 2 steel mid sections, 3 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 93g (1 steel head, 1 steel mid section, 4 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 102g (1 aluminum head, 3 steel mid sections, 2 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 107g (1 steel head, 2 steel mid sections, 3 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 115g (1 aluminum head, 4 steel mid sections, 1 aluminum mid section)
  • SRS Scorpion 119g (1 steel head, 3 steel mid sections, 2 aluminum mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 128g (1 aluminum head, 5 steel mid sections)
  • SRS Scorpion 133g (1 steel head, 4 steel mid sections, 1 aluminum mid section)
  • SRS Scorpion 145g (1 steel head, 5 steel mid sections)
This configuration requires a fifth stainless steel mid section, sold separately.

Both airbrakes are secured with a nut under the piston head against the head to keep them in place after adjustment. The adjustable airbrake is designed to fine-tune piston speed at the end of its travel to reduce cylinder air release time and minimize piston impact noise when it hits the cylinder head. A sorbo pad in the stock can still be used with this piston.

Basically, whether you like a plug-and-play piston or you are an expert who enjoys fine-tuning piston weights and airbrakes for maximum performance, the Stalker Scorpion is your best friend.

Ends in a cliffhanger
Format: Kindle
Thankfully, the next book is already available. Roxy Collins is the queen of omegaverse slow burn. This particular series is omegaverse with wolf shifters. Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Lots of suspense and trying to figure out what is true and what's really going on. I loved it! Pretty spicy once the action starts. Heats are pretty much always spicy. There is a little bit of male interaction, but not full-on shmex. Definitely recommend.

Epic!!!!
Format: Kindle
Absolutely addicted from the first page. The twists and turns, world building and character development all come together for the perfect Omegaverse. And let's not forget that spice because knots are life and these are spectacular. Running for book #2 because that cliffhanger was torturous.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
