Audeant Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022In the late summer of 2015, a last minute change in plans led a couple from Chicago Teal Walker & Andrew Riechers to Oregons Willamette Valley. They made an appointment at one of their favorite wineries, a bottle of which they shared on their first date. Over the course of a three and a half hour tasting, only two and a half hours longer than planned, they came to know a young winemaker there who shared his enthusiasm for the world of wine while
They left finding themselves struck with the energy and beauty of the valley, its wines, and the possibility of a life they never dreamt of. Leaning on winemaker Andrew Riechers’ relationships with farmers and vineyard owners throughout the valley, a small brand was formed around a handful of rows, in a few of the most challenging and compelling vineyard sites in the Willamette Valley.
Audeant Pinot Noir reflects the vitality of late-ripening, organically farmed hillside vineyards of the Willamette Valley—sites rich in biodiversity and kissed by forest light. Each vintage is assembled from choice barrels of each of multiple vineyards to achieve a whole and seamless beauty. It is the most compelling representation for the vintage and Oregon’s Willamette Valley in the cellar.
