S&B engineers this intake to allow your engine to run properly with stock tuning calibrations or enhanced aftermarket tuning. This kit is designed to avoid check engine lights. Featuring injection molded MAF(Mass Air Flow) plate and IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor port that insures a true o-ring seal to the sensor. The factory scoop attachment uses plastic snap in features to secure the scoop to the airbox, which can result in airflow loss.
