Each piece is carefully built by local Vermont craftspeople who take pride in working with solid hardwoods and traditional joinery techniques. The warm cherry tones contrast gently with the lighter maple frames, highlighting the natural grain and character of the wood. As part of the 802 Furniture line, the Burlington Horizontal Wardrobe can also be customized in size and dimensions to fit your unique space, ensuring both beauty and functionality in every bedroom.
All of our furniture is available in Cherry, Maple, Oak, Birch, or Walnut. Each piece can be built in its natural finish or hand-stained to your preference, then protected with a durable catalyzed lacquer. Our Cherry, Maple, Oak, and Birch are sustainably sourced from the Allegheny Plateau and the Northeastern forests, while our Walnut comes from the Midwest and the riverbanks of the Missouri River—an area celebrated for producing some of the tallest, straightest Walnut trees. Every piece is proudly crafted in Vermont by a team of 20 skilled artisans.
