We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of special 2025 proof St George & Dragon design sovereigns. They are the last sovereigns to be released by the Royal Mint in Rose gold. The traditional Benedetto Pistrucci design will be produced in yellow gold only from 2026, and is released alongside the 200th anniversary Royal Arms design by Jean Baptiste Merlen. The George & Dragon design will only be available in proof full sovereign format.

The obverse carries the portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings with the legend : 'CHARLES III · DEI · GRA · REX · FID · DEF' '2025' in Latin this translates to “King Charles III, reigning by the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith,”.
