Чому солдат убиває? Чому той, хто віддає такий наказ, робить це з легкістю руки? Чому світ не може й дня прожити без війни?

На подібні питання я вирішив відповісти з позицій екзистенціальної психології та філософії. Дивно, але мої рефлексії привели мене до знаменитого шекспірівського виразу: 'Весь світ — театр, а люди в ньому — актори'. Завдання будь-якого актора — змусити публіку повірити у його гру. Оному доводиться постійно тренувати свій сценічний образ. Актор не може довгий час грати одну й ту саму роль, та ще й однотипно. Йому треба завжди ставити нову висоту, щоб утримати публіку.

У рядового солдата також є своя висота — це стати якщо не героєм, то генералом армії. Все життя грати рядового він не може. Втім, як і глава будь-якої держави: або увійти в історію як продемократичний ідеолог, або як імперіаліст-завойовник. І проблема в тому, що в гонитві за досконалістю, для багатьох ціль виправдовує засоби. Тому більшість акторів готові віддати власне життя, аби тільки сподобатися своїй публіці. Це готовий зробити і солдат, натискаючи на спусковий гачок. Це готовий зробити і глава держави, натискаючи Червону кнопку.

Overall, it is comfortable. However, I ordered a king sized which is 36" long, but this pillow is only 33". That's somewhere between a queen and kind size. Second, it is not a medium firm. It is more toward soft and lets the head drift down close to the mattress level Over time, you may have neck problems. Time will tell. Update: It is great! My neck feels better and I sleep better. There is still a little odor, but it's not a problem. I recommend this pillow.

I’m a really tough pillow critic and have a hard time finding one I actually like. With that said, this pillow was better than a lot of others I’ve tried—mainly because you can remove some of the latex shavings to adjust the firmness. I ended up taking out about 20% (do it over a big trash can because the shavings can get messy!). When it arrived it was too firm for me, which is why I had to take some filling out. Even after adjusting it, it’s still not my absolute favorite pillow, but I do use it every night as a “hug” pillow and it works great for that. I think people who aren’t as picky as I am will probably really enjoy it, especially since you can customize the amount of latex to get it just right. I’d give it 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4.
