The wave-like traction pattern is a series of cascading studs, so it engages more surface area of the Air Zoom unit while also providing the appropriate amount of grip. The biggest stud is the same height as our traditional middle studs, so traction is not compromised. We paired the wave-like traction with evolved chevron and blade studs to help you stop when making quick cuts.
Fit for Speed
For the first time in Mercurial, we’ve developed a full Flyknit upper. It’s tuned for the needs of the game and sent through the Mercurial filter, so it’s engineered for speed. An incredibly lightweight, yet strong Flyknit on the side panels provides support and brings you closer to the ball.
