You Must Remember This: Life and Style in Hollywood’s Golden Age by Robert Wagner is a captivating journey back to the glamorous world of classic Hollywood, filled with stories of elegance, star power, and unforgettable style.

Through Wagner’s eyes, listeners are transported to a time when Hollywood was a world unto itself, where the biggest stars created an aura of sophistication and mystique that still resonates today.

Narrated by Wagner himself, the audiobook brims with his unique perspective and affection for an era he experienced firsthand. He shares stories of Hollywood life behind the scenes from the 1930s through the 1950s.

Anecdotes about the iconic figures who defined this time—Greta Garbo, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, and more—along with insights into the studios, nightclubs, and lavish parties that made Hollywood’s Golden Age unforgettable.

Moments like Judy Garland singing Gershwin at a dinner party thrown by Clifton Webb and golf games with Fred Astaire, Wagner delves into the fashions, homes, and legendary venues that epitomized the class and charisma of the period, painting a vivid portrait of a world that was as stylish as it was magical.

You Must Remember This is an elegant, nostalgic listen that invites fans of cinema history and classic Hollywood glamour to step back in time. For those who love the allure of vintage Tinseltown, this audiobook is an irresistible celebration of a bygone era, told by someone who lived it.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly. Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration. Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
