German WWII Signed Photo of Knights Cross Winner Rear Admiral Friedrich Kemnade- Friedrich Kemnade was born December 12th, 1911 in Schwarmstedt. Having finished his education in March 1931, he joined the Reichsmarine on April 1st 1931 as Seeoffiziersanwärter (candidate naval officer). He served with the Germany navy through the 1930’s, and in 1937, following his promotion to Oberleunant zur See, he was posted to a torpedoschool as an instructor. At the onset of World War Two in September 1939, Kemnade was commissioned as 1. Torpedo officer and Adjutant on the cruiser Emden where he was promoted to Kapitänleutnant in October. In 1940 he was given command of 3.Schnellbootsflotille; at 22:04 on September 11th, 1940, during a British bombardment on Vlissingen, he was seriously injured whilst aboard Schnellboot S13. After recuperation, he came back to his old post and was promoted to Korvettenkapitän in 1943. Subsequently he served as Referent in the Oberkommando (Supreme Command) of the Kriegsmarine witihn the SKL (Seekriegsleitung, director naval operations), a post he held until Germany surrendered on May 8th, 1945. Kemnade is author of the book “Die Afrika Flotilla” which provides a chronicle and summary of the 3rd Fast Boat Flotilla (3. Schnellbootflottille) operations in the Mediterranean.  It details the activities of the Schnellbootewaffe (E-boats/fast attack craft) and their operations in support of the Afrika Korps. This small lot contains a post war photo of Kemnade wearing his 8 medal ribbon bar, as well as his knights cross etc. This photo is signed in the lower chest area. It contains a biography of the awards he won and major accomplishments. The photo is colored, which is unusual and pretty neat. The photo measures 5 inches (12.7 cm) long and just over 3 ½ inches (8.89 cm) wide. All of this is in very good condition.

Great budget monitor.
Great monitor. Went out on a ledge with a non name brand, but construction is well done. Comparing to my old ones it's night and day difference. Color quality is solid, setup was easy, not a ton of brightness, but I game/work in a dorm room mostly anyhow. Great value.

Good monitor and good support
1440p, 144 Hz, 27 inch is the sweet spot these days and this is a quality monitor that checks all the boxes for a reasonable price. IPS so color and brightness is great. Bonus points for not having crazy RGB lights or gamer aesthetic. Only problem was the stand it came with was missing a screw, however when I emailed support they were quick to send a replacement so very happy with it.

Great monitor, Bad HDR.
(Monitor on the left side.) Honestly, this monitor is pretty damn good. Especially for its price, the resolution is crisp and you don't even recognize a pixel. The refresh rate is solid, no rug pulling on that, plays games smoothly and has zero input delay. Super easy to set up, pretty much just plug and play (except for the stand.) I enjoy this monitor a lot, it’s very, very cost effective and does not underdeliver. Comparing it to my curved 27” Sceptre (depicted right.) it is a LOT more crisp and has way more vibrant and illusive colors. The sceptre is overly saturated despite changing settings and is pretty buns. The only thing I hold back about this monitor is the HDR. Do not use HDR. It makes everything have an orangey-yellow tint and does not properly work, plus there is only one setting of calibration for the HDR. It has no real effect on the resolution or enhancement, it just makes the blacks darker, and the screen orange.
