Giallo paglierino con riflessi verdognoli. Al naso è fruttato, con profumi lunghi e intensi dai netti richiami agrumati, fiori bianchi e macedonia fresca. Al palato è asciutto, di buona struttura, ha evoluzione fragrante con delicata vena acidula e lungo retrogusto.

Uno dei vini più noti delle Cantine Lungarotti, il Torre di Giano, nasce grazie a un sapiente taglio di vermentino, trebbiano e grechetto, varietà coltivate in zona da decenni. Un bianco particolarmente fresco, capace di andare incontro ai gusti più diversi grazie a un invidiabile equilibrio e profumi fragranti e accattivanti. Vinificato e lasciato maturare in sole vasche di acciaio, nel bicchiere spicca per immediatezza e per armonia. Il nome richiama le origini di Torgiano testimoniate dalla torre ricostruita su antichi insediamenti romani, un tempo dedicata a Giano, il dio bifronte.

Anche come aperitivo, accompagna con eleganza paste, risotti, carni bianche, pesce e frutti di mare, zuppa di cipolle, quiches, formaggi a pasta molle.
