Indulge in the rich, aromatic flavours of Vermouth Rosso from Secret Garden Distillery is our newest product made from the Pinot Noir grapes we grow in our Glasshouse at the Distillery Garden. A mainstay of cocktails but can also be sipped neat over ice as an aperitif, Vermouth is classed as a "fortified wine".

Crafted with hand-selected botanicals from the Garden and premium Pinot Noir grapes, this red vermouth boasts deep, herbal notes and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for sipping on its own or as a key ingredient in classic cocktails like the Negroni or Manhattan, Vermouth Rosso offers a versatile, luxurious option for cocktail enthusiasts.

Sustainably produced with an eco-conscious approach, it's the ideal choice for those who appreciate premium spirits with a commitment to the environment.

Tasting Notes:

  • Palate: Sweet, red winey, tannin finish
  • Nose: juniper, herbal, spice

Perfect Serve: Enjoy chilled on its own, in a Negroni, or with a splash of soda for a refreshing aperitif.

History of Vermouth as a spirit

Unlike mass-produced vermouths, primarily from Italy, our version is hand-produced from our Pinot Noir harvest each year. The grapes soak in our proprietary gin for 12 months and form the base of our Pinot Noir Gin. To what is left from the gin production, we add the traditional botanical mugwort from our Garden (the Italians call this "wormwood") and send for ABV testing then diluted to 22% and bottled in our signature brown 50cl bottles.

The modern versions of this astounding liquid were first produced in the mid to late 18th century in Italy. Originally used for medicinal purposes, it was later served as an aperitif in fashionable cafés in Turin, serving it to guests around the clock. In the late 19th century, it became popular with bartenders as a key ingredient for cocktails such as the Negroni, Manhattan and Rob Roy.

Historically, there have been two main types of vermouth: Rosso (sweet) and Bianco (dry). Secret Garden Distillery's Vermouths are made without preservatives or chemicals or added sugar - just nature distilled from "seed to sip".

Puppy loves it!
Size: X-Large, Color: Teething Bone, Size: X-Large, Color: Teething Bone
My small puppy loves this bone! I originally purchased this for a larger dog, but my small 10 pound puppy loves it more. It’s good quality and a softer material for puppies!

A hit, but could be stronger
Size: Medium, Color: Ring Bone, Size: Medium, Color: Ring Bone
Gave this to my 11 week old pittie, and she did significant damage within 15 mins. She left a pile of chewed bits on the couch but thankfully didn't eat them. Definitely don't leave unsupervised. That said, she LOVED it and it seemed to help her teething gums so, I'm still giving it a 4/5 Puppy pics for tax

FOR SHORT TIME USE
Size: X-Small, Color: Ring Bone
My puppies love this. After a couple of weeks, it is worn so I throw it out and buy another since it's reasonably priced. I don't want them to actually ingest a chunk of this.

Great for our puppy
Size: X-Small, Color: Ring Bone
This chew toy has quickly become our puppy’s absolute favorite. She’s just starting to teethe, and keeping her busy and comfortable has definitely been a challenge, but this ring has been a lifesaver. She was interested in it right away and keeps coming back to it on her own, which is a huge win. The chicken flavor seems to really hold her attention, and it gives her something appropriate to chew instead of everything else. It’s the perfect size for a very young puppy and easy for her to hold and gnaw on without getting frustrated. It keeps her occupied, helps soothe her gums, and gives us a much-needed break during those teething moments. If you have a puppy just starting the teething phase and need something safe, durable, and engaging, this is an excellent choice and one I’d happily buy again.

Nylabone Ring Bone
Size: X-Small, Color: Ring Bone
My dog loves these. She chews them into pieces which helps keep her teeth clean. It is a mess to clean up. She chews and spits out the pieces. She is 6 years old so not a puppy.
