This striking Be@rbrick set transforms Katsushika Hokusai’s legendary 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa' into a contemporary designer art collectible through a collaboration between Medicom Toy and Be@rbrick. Featuring both 400% and 100% scale figures, the set faithfully adapts imagery from Hokusai’s celebrated 'Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji' series (c. 1830–1831), wrapping the iconic crashing wave and distant Mount Fuji across the sculptural vinyl surfaces in a seamless hydro-dipped design.
Blending traditional Japanese ukiyo-e imagery with modern street art toy culture, the figures pay tribute to one of the most recognizable artworks in history while presenting it in an entirely new three-dimensional format.
