San Andreas Strawberry is a modern, day-neutral variety prized for its outstanding flavor, generous yields, and adaptability to a wide range of climates. The plants form neat, vigorous mounds of bright green foliage, sending out runners that produce clusters of large, conical berries throughout much of the year. The fruit itself is striking—deep red with a glossy sheen and firm texture that holds up beautifully for fresh eating or baking.

What sets San Andreas apart is its flavor: a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with rich, true strawberry notes that remain consistent from the first harvest of spring through late fall. The berries are exceptionally aromatic, with a clean finish and a satisfying juiciness that makes them favorites among both gardeners and market growers. Compared to other everbearing varieties, San Andreas strawberries are slightly larger and firmer, making them ideal for both snacking and shipping without compromising taste.

As a day-neutral type, San Andreas produces fruit continuously when temperatures are moderate, offering steady harvests rather than a single flush. It performs well in USDA Zones 4–9, thriving in raised beds, garden rows, or containers with well-draining, organically enriched soil. Plant in full sun, water regularly, and remove older leaves and runners to keep the plants productive and disease-free. Highly resistant to common strawberry diseases such as verticillium wilt, this variety delivers reliability and flavor in equal measure—making it one of the best choices for gardeners seeking long, delicious seasons of fresh, homegrown strawberries.

Brilliant! I have been convinced for that the opening ...
Format: Paperback
Brilliant! I have been convinced for some time that the opening verses of I John were speaking about the resurrection and not the incarnation per se. Not that these two are opposed to one another, which is evident from Jensen's title: resurrection presupposes incarnation, but what John has specifically in mind in his letter's opening is the resurrection. So, when John says in his opening "That which was from the beginning, which we heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and have touched with our hands concerning the word of life..." What was heard, seen, looked upon, and touched was the resurrected Christ (cf. John 20:24-29). And next, "the life was manifest" would mean the new life Jesus was resurrected to, that is eternal life never to die again. And now what John has seen and heard concerning the resurrection he has proclaimed to the recipients of his letter. Moreover, it is the resurrection that confirms that Jesus is the Christ; it is his vindication by the Father that he was exactly who he claimed to be and was unjustly put to death by his fellow Jews. This then means that the major conflict taken up within the letter is over the resurrection. To deny the resurrection is to deny that Jesus is the Christ and vice versa. In fact, this is the spirit of the antichrist. Jensen goes into much more detail than this, and provides a reading of the entirety of the letter through the lens of the resurrection. His reading is overall successful and convincing. There is a portion here or there that I would differ from him, but Jensen's thesis is sound and makes remarkable sense of John's epistle. I highly recommend this book.

LOVE MY SINK CADDY!
Color: Black
This caddy is such a game changer for my kitchen. It keeps everything neat and in one place AND no more clutter around the sink! I can fit my soap, sponges, and brushes easily, and it still looks nice on the counter. The drying base really works too! It absorbs water fast and doesn’t get gross like other trays I’ve had. It’s sturdy, doesn’t slip, and even looks kind of decorative. Definitely worth it!
