The Danco Complete Air Gap Assembly with White Air Gap Cap prevents sewage from flowing back into the dishwasher. The dishwasher air gap is mounted above the sink and air shields dishwasher water from overflowing into your main water lines, as required by code in many states. It is a simple way to make certain wastewater and debris never re-enter your clean water supply. When you are running your dishes through a wash cycle, the last thing you want is for them to emerge streaked with grime pumped in from your clogged garbage disposal. The air gap body separates the hose running dirty water from the hose running to the drain. Since these two paths never intersect, there is no risk of wastewater creeping back into your clean appliance. The matte black finish can be looked at as modern but it is a transitional finish too, every space needs a little bit of black so adding in black hardware, faucets, and other fixtures is a great way to include this design staple into your space.

Great Filter, Good Quality!

The beauty of this filter is that it comes with very clear instructions on what to do. Not a lot of manufacturers. Give clear instructions. I got this for a 2007 MDX. The packaging of the product itself was well done by Bosch. Installation was a breeze and as soon as I turned on the air conditioning post installation, I could tell the very clear difference. Plus, I also got an opportunity to look at the old filter which was filled with the usual culprits and debris. The initial airflow did have a mild smell of kerosene or like fuel. But this could also be because of the filter component itself needing to be vented out. I would recommend keeping the filter out for about 30 to 60 minutes before installation. Once installed, however, the improvement in air quality was very evident. The fit was very good as well. Highly recommend this. Very high quality.
