Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is the most successful race car in the world. Since 1998, 2,395 units of this near-standard vehicle for customer racing have been produced. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is the motorsport version of the 911 GT3 and is based on the seventh generation of the sports car icon from Zuffenhausen.
Steering wheel for the Porsche 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 Cup was supplied by Sabelt (P/N 991.347.804.8A), a company with a long-standing relationship with Porsche and produced in the Sport Line factory.
The only difference between the original racing-used Porsche 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 Cup steering wheels and this version is the sticker on the back, which carries the Porsche branding and part number. Additionally, this version is equipped with a dedicated hole for the Porsche horn button (included), allowing drivers to retain full horn functionality while maintaining the authentic GT3 Cup design. All other aspects – such as size, weight and quality features like suede, anodising, gluing and engraving on the back – are identical.
The steering wheel features a yellow leather reference marker for quick identification of the steering position. It comes with an optional Porsche sticker but does not include a boss kit, which can be purchased separately. It can serve as a replacement for the Porsche 911, and with a 6x70mm PCD pattern boss, it can be installed on other vehicles as well.
