We camped nearby in Yaak, Montana, the only "town" out there in this vast and wild region (not far from where I grew up) and brought our motorcycles to do some exploring of the back roads. When we arrived at end of the road we found that we still had a steep 1/4 mile hike to do, in our stiff motorcycle boots - or not at all. Naturally we scrambled up, after coming all that way, and when we returned to our bikes we were greeted by a curious and unafraid Snowshoe hare. A great experience and beautiful place!
