Rosso rubino luminoso. Al naso si susseguono profumi floreali, note di ciliegia matura, cioccolato, spezie dolci, tabacco; al sorso è strutturato, succoso, dai tannini levigati, dal lungo finale.Il Brunello di Montalcino prodotto dall'azienda vinicola Castello Tricerchi è ottenuto da uve sangiovese in purezza, coltivate su terreni di medio impasto ricchi di argilla calcarea e sabbia, nelle vigne Del Castello e Del Velo. La vendemmia è rigorosamente manuale, e in seguito alla fermentazione, avviata da lieviti indigeni, il vino sosta in botti di rovere di diversa grandezza per almeno 30 mesi, a cui seguono 8 mesi in bottiglia. Nobile e di carattere, si presta a lunghi affinamenti.
Ideale con secondi elaborati di carne rossa o formaggi stagionati.
