Fortunately, BD-Power recognized this problem and has rectified the issue with their simple to install Overdrive Lockout Kit. BD's LockOut for the 2005 Dodge gives control of the overdrive function back to the driver, allowing the disablement of 4th gear (OD) for exhaust brake use or pulling duty. Works great to keep the RPM's up during exhaust brake usage for maximum braking power.
