The MAP-100666 front lambda (oxygen) sensor is positioned before the catalytic converter and measures exhaust oxygen content to help the ECU control air-fuel mixture accurately. A faulty upstream oxygen sensor can lead to higher fuel consumption, rough running, or an engine light.
