DESCRIPTION
For years, IWC and Swiss airline JU-Air has cultivated a partnership based on a mutual admiration of the Junkers JU-52 aircraft. Out of the 8 vintage JU-52’s, still flying today, one has carried the IWC logo for over 2 decades, flying all over the world to publicize a new IWC pilot’s watch. The IW387809 Pilot’s Watch Spitfire “JU-Air” features the 89365 calibers with full automatic movement and 68-hour power reserve. The stainless-steel case houses a rhodium-plated dial with Arabic numerals and date window at the 3 o’clock position. A black leather strap, stainless steel deployment and water resistance of 60 meters or 200 feet complete the timepiece.
