The kickout (flared end of the slider) allows the rear of your vehicle to act as a pivot point, pushing the rear tire away from a rock or tree. Plus, it can be used as a wide step for accessing gear on top of your truck. Lastly, DOM tubing is some of the strongest steel material available, commonly used on high end sliders.
