**NEW DATE**

During this class at the beautiful heritage home of journalist and author, Christine McCabe, you will learn how to grow and arrange all the easiest and most abundant plants for picking including tulips, ranunculus, dahlias and sweet peas. We will share advice on seed sowing and propagation and the fundamentals of soil conditioning, mulching, irrigation and staking; we’ll look at seasonality, foliage plants, cut and come again varieties as well as annuals and perennials. And discuss the importance of colour, scent, stem length and vase life.

Rebecca will demonstrate what to look for when choosing plants and help you to devise a calendar so that all those jobs get done at precisely the right time.

Of course, the whole point of a cutting garden is to bring beautiful flowers into your home. Rebecca will be leaving Robe at dawn, her truck laden with flowers from the farm, and we’ll have great fun creating our own romantic bouquets.

During this lovely half-day workshop, Christine will lead a guided tour of her garden at The Oaks with time for questions (and perhaps taking a sneaky cutting or two) and we’ll enjoy a gorgeous ‘vintage’ themed afternoon tea where even the cakes are bedecked in flowers.

This is a small group workshop to allow for individual attention. You’ll head home inspired and informed with a lush bouquet and a generous starter kit to set you on your flower growing journey.

Good flavor & texture
McVitie's Ginger Nut biscuits are an English staple. They have good flavor and texture. This 3-pack is reasonably priced. Some of the packs had the end biscuits a bit crumbled, probably during shipment.

Cant find these MclVites ginger nut cookies in the local store any more.
Good value, not expired. My issue is amazon packaging. I can get three little watch batteries in a box snd three round packages of cookies like these in a soft bag. Cookies are not invincible to the perils of transit. I found quite a bit of crumbles and pieces of cookies. Thankfully crumbs makes an excellent yogurt topping.
