Some lessons can’t be learned in a classroom. A seminary education is immensely valuable, offering theological preparation, spiritual formation, and wise mentoring. But many new pastors are discouraged when the realities of their first call don’t line up with what they came to expect from assigned readings and classroom discussions. Bridging the gap between seminary training and real life in a local church, fifteen veteran pastors and ministry leaders offer advice and encouragement related to a host of real-world issues, such as leading congregations through seasons of suffering, handling conflict, accepting a call, leaving a church, and more.

“We are blessed in our modern day to have some wonderful seminaries. And yet even the strongest seminaries fall short of equipping men with the practical tools every pastor needs in ministry. That is one of the many reasons this book is a brilliant, needed resource. 15 Things Seminary Couldn’t Teach Me is a gift not just for every seminary-trained pastor, but also for every man laboring in the trenches of pastoral ministry. An all-star cast of pastors has been assembled to fill this long-exposed gap in the training of pastors. Brian Croft, Senior Pastor, Auburndale Baptist Church, Louisville, Kentucky; Founder, Practical Shepherding

Love it!
Size: XX-Large, Color: Lavender/White Stripe
I am a cheapskate and try hard to find bargains, but i have no problem with paying this price for a quality piece of clothing! Loving the fit and especially the lavender color. Very classy wearing it fully buttoned or open collared. Looks and feels great!! I like this so much I bought the Aqua stripe and green stripe also!

Very solid option for comfort but the pattern of the shirt I received was off-putting
Size: Small, Color: Grey White Stripe
The shirt itself is great, sizing is spot on with an athletic tapered fit which I always prefer in a polo. The material is classic maelreg cotton feeling without the heaviness and water holding of typical cotton shirts. You can run in these polos, workout, go out to lunch or dinner, or simply sleep in these they are so comfortable. It's the patterns offered that made me return this and another I tried out. Colors are spot on with descriptions but the patters are small enough to play tricks on eyes, I received complaints from both my wife and daughter (separately) about the pattern hurting their eyes hence the 4 star instead of 5. Others may love the patter but know that it isn't as universally pleasing as more other shirts offered by this brand

Looks decent, doesn’t cook me in summer
Size: Medium, Color: Grey White Stripe
Bought this mainly as another golf shirt and wasn’t expecting much. Material is lightweight and comfortable enough during warmer days. Fit was pretty close to expected sizing. Sometimes inexpensive golf shirts end up feeling stiff or cheap after washing. This one has held up fine so far. Good everyday option.
