This is an outstanding lithograph by the renowned Cuban artist, Ramon Alejandro. It is a wonderful image of his protrait of femininity. Typical of his best work, he has employed tropical fruits, as an expression of sensuality. It is pencil signed and numbered 1/65. This print measures about 16 x 12in (42 x 30cm). It was done while Alejandro was living in Paris, in 1991. We guarantee the authenticity of this print, and will offer a certificate of authenticity on our gallery letterhead. This print is in mint condition, and is unframed. Alejandro lithographs, etchings and serigraphs are rare, difficult to find, and more than likely will appreciate dramatically over time. He produces a very limited amount of work, and even less original printwork, and his work is very sought after.

This print will be accompanied by the Alejandro book entitled "Ramon Alejandro". It was done by Art Tribu in Paris in 1999. MLA Gallery has the largest selection of Alejandro prints in the world. We offer a life-time trade in policy. Please inquire.

This gallery considers Alejandro to be the top Surrealist artist in the world today.

José Ramón Alejandro is a Cuban painter and writer. Since the late 1960s, his work has appeared in one-man shows in private galleries in Paris, Geneva, and Miami, as part of exhibitions in Israel and cities across Europe, and in exhibits of limited edition books illustrated by artists of note. The Bibliothèque Nationale de France, the Bibliothèque Municipale d’Angers in France, the San Diego Art Museum, and the Miami-Dade Public Library all include his works in their permanent collections.

Alejandro left Havana in the 1960s to live in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Paris, where he stayed for thirty years. In 1995, he moved to Miami. There he founded Editions Deleatur, a publisher focusing on Cuban writers within Cuba and abroad. Alejandro and his work are the subject of the essay collection Ramón Alejandro(L’Atelier des Brisants, 2006).

For serious coffee connoisseurs
I got this coffee canister because I know that my coffee connoisseur, son will be staying at our home for a few months this spring. He invests in very good quality coffee beans and grinds his portions as needed. I know that this glass vacuum type jar will do the trick in keeping the beans fresh so that the oils don't dry out. My husband and I use a flip top hinged canister for our more regular grind and the speed at which my husband drinks coffee means that it's usually quite fresh without the vacuum additional feature. I would caution that it took a hot minute to figure out how it work and wasn't easy to get open the first time outta the blocks. Read the instructions so you get familiar with home the air is extracted and how to release the pressure to open the canister.

Nice glass canister
Holds coffee airtight, keeping it fresher longer. It's see-through, so even guests know where to get the coffee. Good quality.

Not what I expected
For the price, I thought this was a real air release coffee jar. The kind you can use a vacuum sealer on that really gets out all of the air. This is one of the press pump types. For most, this would be efficient, but I make espresso and need the freshest beans. I roast myself and need them to maintain their freshness and this doesn’t quite do it for me.

Thin glass but good container
My biggest worry with this container is that it is such thin glass. I fear if I were to hit it the wrong way or it even fell a foot it would shatter. The seal is very good though and holds my coffee beans. It is easy to open and seal. I have no issues with it and it does what it is intended for other than it being a bit thin.

I needed a secure container for my flour and this works perfect
I have a unique problem I have dart frogs and because I have dart frogs I have to raise flies unfortunately, the fruit flies really love flower, and I’m having a hard time getting a container that seals and keeps everything out because normally a bay leaf is good enough to keep whatever out of your flower but not not this so I got this container and it’s amazing it seals so nice and tight. You can literally pressurize it to keep your flower completely safe from silly things like fruit flies I know this is unusual, but if you’re looking for a container that really seals this one’s fantastic. I love that it’s glass. I love that you can actually pump the top to pressurize it and then you hit the other button to release the pressure. I will say it is kind of hard to pull the lid off so definitely go slow.
