Here we are taking a new direction in breeding. Orchidglade (C. walkeriana x C. aurantiaca) is a lovely hybrid, producing clusters of orange flowers with yellow lips accented in red at the tip.  Candy Sparks (Slc. Mem. Trudi Marsh x Slc. Angel's Fantasy) has been an excellent parent with outstanding shape and colourful flared flowers. It’s always exciting for us to develop something new. In this cross, we believe the yellow lips of Orchidglade will express themselves as splashes on the petals of the progeny as we see in hybrids with C. intermedia v. aquinii.   Expect to see flowers with orange sepals, and bold yellow flares on the petals. There will s be 3-4 flowers per inflorescence and plants to bloom in 3” pots
