Hyssop Lavender Licorice Mint Agastache Foeniculum is a perennial herb native to North America. Lavender Hyssop seeds can be started indoors or directly outdoors in spring, and also called Blue Giant Hyssop, and Anise Hyssop, this Hyssop features foliage with opposite, oval, toothed and whitish beneath leaves and produces dense, sturdy and erect terminal spikes of extremely fragrant, small, tubular, bright bluish-purple, lavender flowers. Blue Giant Hyssop is of the most ornamental native mints, and the entire plant is very fragrant - a mixture of mint and licorice. The sweet scented Hyssop flowers appear in summer in fall attracting masses of honeybees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Hyssop Lavender Licorice Mint attracts wildlife to herb gardens, adds interest to borders and containers, and this beautiful, scented all around perennial herb is great for both prairie meadows and flower beds. Agastache Foeniculum seeds have to be just scattered on the soil surface and slightly pressed down without covering. The established Lavender Giant Hyssop tolerates drought and grows best in full sun or partial shade. The cut and dried flowers of Hyssop are popular choice for house decorations, and the Hyssop leaves make tasty herbal teas.

A wonderful edition!
Format: Paperback
I highly recommend this edition above all others available. The translation is very clear and lucid and actually makes Timaeus and Critias real page-turners. Not only is the translation great, but the introductory material is incredible. While one review here mentions that the translation misses some of the nuance of Platonic thought (which I don't necessarily agree with that), the introduction more than makes up for that. So many available editions of Timaeus are written by reluctant scholars who act puzzled as to why they've been asked to introduce Timaeus when they are obviously either not fond of it, or dismissive of it as an authentic piece of Plato's canon. At last, we have an edition that is faithful and generous to the source material!

The origin of Atlantis was orally passed down from an Egyptian priest.
Format: Paperback
I haven’t even finished it yet because I’ve been very busy with college. However, it is fascinating to read the story of Atlantis. Personally, I believe it was a real lost city. Mythology can sometimes be true if it speaks about lost cities.
