Vitamin C is an essential vitamin that plays a huge role in numerous processes within the body linked to many impressive health benefits.
Vitamin C is considered to be the most effective antioxidant in our blood, which is due to its water-solubility and the wide range of radical oxygen species (ROS) it can scavenge.
Research has shown that Vitamin C is a vital nutrient for health, as it helps form and maintain bones, skin and blood vessels as well as enhancing the absorption of dietary iron. Additional supplementation has also proven beneficial to the immune system and our resilience, especially during periods of heavy physical/mental workloads (stress).
Even though Vitamin C is such an amazing nutrient, it's often overlooked (other than during winter months) in favour of more 'sexy' supplements. Which is unfortunate, as our bodies cannot produce or store Vitamin C like it can with other nutrients.
As such; Vitamin C must be sourced from our diet on a daily basis (mainly from citrus fruits and vegetables) and seeing as most people's diets are deficient in both, we decided to create Vitamin C+ to help people fill in the blanks.
Vitamin C+ is our high strength Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) and natural Citrus Bioflavanoids dietary supplement, combined to create an easily absorbed, high potency antioxidant formulation.
Citrus Bioflavanoids enhance the absorption of Vitamin C, resulting in a greater overall antioxidant effect than with Vitamin C alone.
