Richard worked for Saint-Louis for many years. Since winning the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2015, Richard has continued to push his technique, creating some of the most interesting and artistically technical work France has seen in decades.
In this piece Richard has teamed up with celebrated Belgian artist Renaud De Putter to create something altogether unique and beautiful.
As a skilled painter, Renaud has used enamels to detail a colorful image of the famed opera singer Maria Callas. Richard then further enhanced the scene with a flamework garland of purple violets encased over a colorless transparent ground.
