This is a rare occurrence given the MaggieFrame’s strong magnets. First, ensure the metal brackets on your SPECTA embroidery machine are securely tightened. Double-check that you are using the correct stabilizer for the fabric type. For dense or slippery projects, you can place a thin non-slip liner between the fabric and hoop to enhance grip and stability during magnetic hoop embroidery.
Does this frame allow me to embroider items that are difficult to hoop with traditional frames, like zippered bags or heavy jackets?
Yes. The MaggieFrame magnetic hoop for SPECTA embroidery machines uses evenly distributed magnetic force to hold thick or rigid fabrics securely. This makes it ideal for embroidery on jacket backs, tote bags, towels, and similar items that are challenging to clamp with standard embroidery hoops, helping you achieve smooth, hoop-mark-free results with less effort.
Will my embroidery machine automatically recognize this frame’s size, or do I need to set it manually?

You’ll need to manually select or add the 5.1″ × 5.1″ (130 × 130 mm) hoop size in your SPECTA machine’s software.
