The Aruba/HP HPE 8320 Ethernet Switch stands at the forefront of enterprise network performance, delivering high-density port capacity, flexible uplink options, and intelligent management for campus and data-center environments. Built to meet evolving workloads, this switch blends robust reliability with modern automation‑driven administration, helping organizations simplify operations while accelerating application–aware networking. With ArubaOS-CX at its core, the HPE 8320 transforms traditional switching into an agile, observable, and secure platform that scales with your business needs and security requirements.

  • High-density performance for demanding networks: The HPE 8320 is designed for environments that demand fast, consistent throughput and low latency. Its dense port layout supports a large number of end devices and uplinks, enabling seamless aggregation and distribution across the campus core or data center fabric. The switch leverages a non-blocking or near-non-blocking fabric to minimize congestion during peak usage, ensuring predictable performance for demanding applications, virtual desktop infrastructure, and real-time analytics. This kind of capacity is ideal for modern enterprises relying on data-intensive workloads, AI-driven services, and multimedia collaboration across multiple campuses.
  • Flexible, multi-speed uplinks for future-proof networks: With multi-rate uplink capabilities, the HPE 8320 accommodates a mix of 25G/40G/100G connectivity, allowing you to scale bandwidth as traffic patterns evolve. This flexibility simplifies consolidation and expansion, reduces the need for premature equipment refresh, and enables you to connect to core data centers, high-performance servers, or leaf-spine topologies without bottlenecks. The result is a versatile switching backbone that adapts to changing workloads, whether you’re migrating to higher-speed workloads or deploying new cloud services with demanding latency requirements.
  • Security-first design with micro‑segmentation and policy control: The switch is built with enterprise-grade security in mind. It supports granular access controls, ACLs, and policy-based segmentation to minimize lateral movement in the event of a threat. Integrated threat intelligence, consistent policy enforcement, and integration with security platforms help organizations enforce zero-trust principles without sacrificing performance. This security posture is especially valuable in mixed-tenant environments, centralized data centers, and campus networks where safeguarding critical resources and sensitive data is essential.
  • Intelligent management and automation with ArubaOS-CX: The HPE 8320 runs ArubaOS-CX, a modern operating system that emphasizes observable networks, automation, and simplified management. Features such as intent-based networking, streaming telemetry, and RESTful APIs empower network engineers to automate repetitive tasks, deploy consistent configurations, and rapidly remediate issues. AI-powered analytics identify anomalies and present actionable insights, enabling proactive maintenance and faster mean time to resolution. Centralized visibility across the fabric helps IT teams troubleshoot, optimize QoS, and ensure SLA compliance with confidence.
  • Reliability, resilience, and easy deployment: Enterprises rely on continuous availability, and the 8320 is designed with redundancy and durability in mind. hot-swappable components, modular power options, and fault-tolerant software mechanisms help minimize downtime. In rack environments, the switch is suited for 19-inch cabinets, supports standard mounting practices, and integrates smoothly with existing data-center or campus infrastructure. Its predictable power consumption and quiet operation also make it a good fit for noisier data centers or edge deployments where energy efficiency and reduced cooling costs matter as much as performance.

How to install HPE 8320 Ethernet Switch

Installing the HPE 8320 Ethernet Switch correctly is essential to realizing its performance and reliability. Begin by planning a deployment that aligns with your network topology—whether it will sit at the edge, core, or distribution layer—and confirm you have the appropriate rack, power supplies, and uplink modules. The following steps outline a practical installation flow that prioritizes safe setup, proper cabling, and a solid initial configuration.

  • Prepare the rack and hardware: Ensure you have a compatible 19-inch rack, mounting rails, and a suitable chassis with any required spare blades or modules. Verify that power supplies are compatible with your data center or office electrical standards. If redundant power is used, verify the availability of separate circuits to minimize single-point failures.
  • Physically install the switch: Slide the chassis into the rack rails and secure with the appropriate screws. Leave sufficient space for airflow around the switch and for cable management. Confirm that the device is level and stable before proceeding to cabling.
  • Connect management and data networks: Attach the switch to a management network via the management port or a dedicated management VLAN. Connect your uplink/downlink ports to the core, distribution, or server access layers as your design requires. Use shielded, properly rated cables for copper ports or install compatible transceivers for fiber uplinks. For best results, organize cables with labels to ease maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Power it up and perform initial access: Power on the device and connect to the console or management interface. If available, use a direct console connection or a known management IP via the CLI or graphical user interface. Set initial credentials with a strong admin password and enable the required management features, logging, and remote access controls for security.
  • Update firmware and apply baseline configurations: Check for the latest firmware release from HPE/Aruba and perform an upgrade if needed. Apply a baseline configuration that includes interface VLANs, management VLAN, QoS policies, security ACLs, and basic routes if required. Ensure time synchronization services (NTP) are configured to keep logs and telemetry accurate for diagnostics and audits.
  • Configure governance and monitoring: Enable SNMP or alternative telemetry as appropriate for your monitoring stack, set up syslog, and ensure NetFlow/IPFIX or streaming telemetry is active if your environment supports it. Establish alerting thresholds to catch performance or security anomalies early. Validate the configuration against your design, run connectivity checks, and verify reachability across the intended network segments.
  • Test and validate: Conduct basic connectivity tests from end devices to critical servers and core routers. Perform throughput tests to check for expected performance, verify latency under load, and confirm QoS policies are correctly prioritizing traffic types including voice, video, and critical data services. Finally, document the configuration and create a recovery plan in case of future changes.

Worth the price
Scent: Face Wash, Size: 5.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Although I was hesitant to buy this at first since it’s about twice the price as the facial cleansers I normally use, it’s by far the best face wash I’ve ever used. It exfoliates the skin very well and leaves your face feeling clean after use. Definitely worth the extra few dollars

Greasy, does not blend in well but does not leave white marms
Overall, when researching this product, I saw that it does not leave the white residue on your face like normal sunscreen does, I’m looking for a face moisturizer first with SPF but this one feels more just like an SPF sunscreen. It is pretty greasy shortly and after a few hours of having it on, especially when sweating it makes my face feel really oily, and also it does not blend in very well such as pretty much like I just mentioned you could still feel it on your face a couple hours later but if the no white resident is the most important thing for you, it does not leave that residue. It’s cruelty free and vegan product (no animal products in it or animal testing done) so that’s good but I will most likely not be purchasing this .

So so good!!!
Scent: Face Wash, Size: 5.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This face wash is a game changer! From texture to smell it is perfect. I ordered this for my husband to replace his usual "routine" of washing his face in the shower with bar soap (gasp!). I not-so-sneakily put this in the shower and at his first sample of it he was hooked. It's the only face wash he's tried and actually likes to use on a daily basis. Also, the price point is great! Definitely recommend for anyone seeking an awesome face wash at a perfect price.

A lot of these poems leave me feeling like an idiot
Format: Paperback
This is the type of book I read at 3 am when I can't sleep. Stevens' poetry just makes me feel so calm, even though the content in his poetry is not in fact anywhere near the realms of calm. Overall, I would say, the content is hard-hitting. I'm not going to pretend I understand all of his ideas and everything he says- I definitely don't. A lot of these poems leave me feeling like an idiot. But when I am able to figure something out, it all starts to click and I am left with a lump in my throat. Although I don't necessarily understand everything when it comes to this collection, I think that it is a good thing. It just shows the high level of his talent manages to knock me off my feet. Well, anyway, I got my first peak of this collection at uni. I was so intrigued by it that I bought it during winter break. While reading it I found out one of my professors is an editor of the edition that I bought. Rad. But also, the thing is, (and I have thought this many times before,) uni can only teach you so many things. I learned much more about Stevens' poetry by reading it myself than what I learned from uni. Like, without reading basically this whole collection, I would have never learned that Stevens is, for the most part, a Romantic. He's a lot like Wordsworth, I think. He inherits so many of the Romantic feelings, ideas and philosophies but he still manages to stay modern at the same time. I am obsessed with the Romantic poets so in my mind, that's what makes him stand out. I love the fact that he manages to tie modernism and Romanticism together, it is a real treat for me to read. Even though it's not really talked about, I would say my favorite poem of his is "Another Weeping Woman". It is so quick and beautiful and earnest and a good poem to read when you lose one of your loved ones. Over the past couple of years I have really warmed up to poetry. I'm not a huge American lit person in general but I always tell people that Stevens is one of my favorites, if not my favorite American poet. Everything about his work seems so personal, like when you're reading it, it feels like he is speaking directly to you. It feels so natural but honestly nothing about reading his poetry is easy. It is tough to figure out. But I enjoyed taking the time to sit down and try to hypothesize all that is going on in his works. He is dark, so dark and yet manages to feel so light, so beautiful. He delivers the best of both worlds in my eyes and that's why I will revisit this collection again and again and again. It never stops being so hideous and so beautiful at the same time.
