"This biography explores the story of a previously unknown story of old-time tattooist Mike Huff. His career began in 1907 and ended with the illegalization  of tattooing in 1963. Its pages contain 5 never published sheets of flash from Huff and 4 from his friend and contemporary Wilbur King (whom we did a book about in 2018). Huff had ties to the likes of Gus Wagner, Percy Waters, Lyle Tuttle and many others throughout his almost 60 year career. The book explores his career and personal life, contains his own hand painted flash, military history, stories and anecdotes from correspondence between himself and other tattooers and never before seen photographs of an important forefather of tattooing."
