The black Sennheiser ME 9005 is a microphone capsule for handheld transmitters in the 9000 and 6000 Series. It is designed to mount on the SKM 9000 and the SKM 6000 transmitters.

The ME 9005 features a condenser capsule with a narrow supercardioid pickup pattern that rejects off-axis background noise, focusing audio capture tightly on the vocalist for effective feedback reduction on loud stages. The capsule and grille are designed to minimize plosives, while the internal shockmount helps to reduce handling noise. Included is a set of five replacement foam inlays.

Definitely NOT a down-like pillow, so if that's what you're looking for, this is not for you.
