Sofa Eight, a modular sofa system comprising five key modules including a timber side table, allows for almost limitless possible configurations.
Sofa Eight is a continuation of Neri&Hu's exploration of an expressive tectonic language. The main supporting element of the sofa is a traditional wood joinery assemblage of stacking members in the X, Y, and Z-axes, pinned together to form a structural base. The cushioned seating utilises memory foam for comfort while maintaining clean, firm lines.
Available in black walnut, white oak, or ash in a range of finishes, and a range of fabric and leather options. See menus below for further material information.

Crafted at the solar-powered De La Espada factory in Portugal. Designed by a creative partner and rigorously engineered with the support of our in-house product development team and expert craftspeople. Durability, comfort and aesthetics combine for a product that lasts a lifetime.
Timber is sustainable solid wood from North America or Europe, offering long-term repairability of the surface. Natural colour and grain variations in every plank make each piece an individual. Traditional wood joinery bonded with wood glue ensures structural integrity. All finishes are non-toxic and applied by hand, sprayed or rubbed.
Textiles supplied by a renowned Danish partner with fabric mills in Norway, Italy and the UK. Leather sourced from tanneries in Sweden and Italy using only hides from European cattle.
