Meet the Extreme Networks AP5050D, a purpose-built outdoor wireless access point engineered to excel in the most demanding environments. Designed for stadiums, arenas, and other large outdoor venues, this Tri-Band 802.11ax (Wi‑Fi 6E) AP delivers exceptional capacity, lower latency, and robust efficiency across hundreds or thousands of simultaneous connections. Built to thrive in extreme conditions, the AP5050D is engineered to integrate seamlessly with Extreme Networks’ Smart portfolio, enabling centralized management, insightful analytics, and scalable policy enforcement that can grow with your venue’s evolving connectivity needs. Note: the 6 GHz radio is provided, but it will be disabled until Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) is configured to meet regulatory requirements in your region. This ensures compliant operation and maximizes spectrum efficiency once AFC is activated.

  • High-density performance for stadiums and large venues: The AP5050D is optimized for ultra-dense client populations and IoT traffic, delivering the advantages of Wi‑Fi 6E. With support for 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, it leverages OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, and advanced scheduling to improve throughput, reduce contention, and provide smoother, more reliable experiences for every user – from smartphones to wearables and sensors in a crowded environment.
  • Outdoor design engineered for unforgiving environments: Built to withstand the rigors of outdoor deployment, the AP5050D combines a rugged enclosure with weather-resilient networking features to support long-term operation in stadium concourses, concourses, concourses, and other open-air venues. Its architecture is tailored for continuous uptime in sunlight, wind, and precipitation, helping venue operators maintain pervasive coverage without frequent field service.
  • Tri-band Wi‑Fi 6E with 6 GHz readiness: This access point delivers a true tri-band experience, incorporating the new 6 GHz spectrum alongside the familiar 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The 6 GHz radio broadens channel options, reduces interference, and unlocks additional capacity for high-density usage. The 6 GHz radio will be disabled by default until AFC configuration is completed, ensuring regulatory compliance before enabling operation in that band.
  • AFC-enabled regulatory compliance for 6 GHz: The AP5050D is designed to comply with regional regulatory requirements through Automated Frequency Coordination. When AFC is configured, the 6 GHz band can be activated in eligible areas, helping you maximize spectrum efficiency while adhering to local rules. This capability is crucial for large-scale venues seeking future-proof Wi‑Fi infrastructure that can adapt to evolving spectrum policies.
  • Seamless integration with Extreme Networks Smart portfolio: The AP5050D is built to harmonize with Extreme Networks’ centralized management, analytics, and policy control ecosystem. Reliable, Comfortable, and Good-Looking Chair — I Keep Coming Back to It
Color: White
This is my fourth time purchasing this Amazon Basics mid-back office chair, which says a lot about its overall value. It looks clean and modern, fits well in a home office, and is genuinely comfortable for daily use. I typically get about a year and a half out of each one, which feels reasonable given the price point and materials. Out of the box, the chair is easy to assemble and immediately comfortable. The padding is supportive, the armrests are well positioned, and the faux leather gives it a more upscale appearance than many chairs in this category. It rolls smoothly, swivels easily, and works well for long computer sessions without causing back or shoulder fatigue. That said, this is not a lifetime chair. After extended use, the cushioning and structure do begin to wear, and that’s usually when I replace it. Still, considering the comfort, appearance, and cost, it remains one of the best value office chairs I’ve found — which is why I keep buying it again. Pros: • Comfortable padding and good mid-back support • Clean, modern appearance that looks great in an office • Smooth rolling and stable base • Easy assembly • Excellent value for the price Cons: • Durability is moderate; expect replacement after about 1½ years • Not designed for long-term heavy-duty use Verdict: If you want a comfortable, attractive, and affordable office chair that performs well for daily use, this is a strong choice. It may not last forever, but its comfort and value make it easy to recommend — and easy to repurchase.

Good Basic Chair with a Few Drawbacks
Color: Black
I bought this Amazon Basics office task chair for my boyfriend who works from home. Overall, it’s a decent, simple chair that gets the job done for everyday use, especially if you just need something functional and affordable. However, there are a couple of downsides. The recline doesn’t go back as much as he would like, so it’s not ideal if you prefer to lean back and relax between tasks. Also, after about a month of use, the wheels don’t glide as smoothly as they did at first, which can be a bit frustrating when rolling across the floor. Overall, it’s a solid basic chair for light use, but if you want something with a deeper recline or super smooth mobility long-term, you might want to consider other options. Still a reasonable purchase depending on your needs.

Had for just over 9 years now and still pretty solid
Color: Black
I ordered this chair back in December 2015 for our front office, and it's been moved to our back shop where we fabricate. We're not a gentle work space by any stretch of the imagination; we build stuff and it's messy, lots of tools etc. This chair has held up surprisingly well! The faux leather is delaminating almost entirely on the seat but honestly, I'd expect that for faux leather on something that is used daily. The seat pad, in my opinion, has gotten de-poofed. So it's not plush anymore but still usable. I've asked the guy that's using it if they want an upgrade/update and they said they like it and don't want to change it out just yet. That's saying something! The size is nice and wide. We've had a range of differently sized folks sit in the chair over the years and the seat was always comfortable (less now without so much seat poof), I was able to sit cross-legged and the whole chair felt sturdy then as it does now. All of the standards functions you'd want an office chair to do, it can still do: it goes up and down smoothly, it rolls just fine, it's still pivot-reclines comfortably and doesn't feel like it's going to topple. I like it!
