ASTAROTH was formed in Tampa, Florida in November 1991 by Larry Sapp following his departure from BRUTALITY. This CD contains Demos 1993, '95 & '98, 20 tracks in total. Personell over the years amongst others: Tony Laureano (Brujeria, Nile, Megadeth drum tech) on drums, Larry Sapp (all demos, Brutality), Demian Heftel (Brutality, Nocturnus) on guitars, Jim Coker on drums (Nasty Savage, Brutality). Demo 1993 was produced by Greg Marchak who produced Winter's 'Into darkness' album and live production of Savatage/TSO shows was and mixed by Ken Faulkenberry (Acheron, Ulcer, Nocturnus). The 1995's demo 'Song Of Sorrow' was again produced by Marchak and mastered at famous Morrisound (Death, Cannibal Corpse) and included the talented Thomas Viator, who later went on to join James Murphy's Disincarnate. 1998 saw the recording of Burning Christians. Unlike the first 2 ASTAROTH demos which had a Swedish tuned down sound like Carnage and Entombed, 'Burning Christians' had more a chaotic Deicide/Possessed sound (Morrisound mastering again). After the 1998 demo, Sapp joined Brutality again. Some Astaroth tracks were used for Brutality then.

Soft and durable!
I bought this for my husband as a christmas gift and so far it’s been great quality! He works outside and I wanted to get something warm and soft for the winter. It’s been washed (and air dried) 3-4 times in the last couple of months and it’s held up great!! Such good quality for the price. He says it’s very soft and warm and prefers it over itchy wool.

Favorite. Hat. Ever.
I don't usually write reviews but I though I would this time for two reasons. Ordered one of these in black from Amazon and it showed up in a nice giftable box and the hat itself is really nice. Soft, warm cashmere. Favorite hat I've ever had. The fit is perfect. Not too large, not too small. Overall very impressive and a super reasonable value too!
Here is my warning: There were different colors available of course, one of which was a dark green which became unavailable. So I went to Villand's website where they had the dark green available for purchase for $26. I bought a second hat from Villand directly and it TOOK 18 DAYS for delivery! There is no phone number for customers to call on Villands website. I wrote twice asking about the order and heard nothing back. The tracking number provided did not work until about three days prior to delivery. I was honestly surprised when it showed up in the mail. I thought the money was gone and no hat was ever giong to arrive. No idea where it was shipped from but assuming over seas somewhere. My recommendation is to purchase via Amazon and NOT FROM Villand directly.
