What it does
Hydrates and primes the hair for styling. Apply daily on damp hair, or use as a daily refresh on dry curls.
Hair type
Best for type 2C through 4C textures. The brand formulates broadly across the curl spectrum — adjust application amount based on density and porosity. Wavy and looser-curl users should start with smaller amounts to avoid weigh-down.
How to use
- rinse with warm water for 30-60 seconds,
- apply a generous amount of Untie the Knot Nourishing Leave-In Conditioner to hands,
- work conditioner through hair, detangling hair from ends to roots,
- rinse hair,
- reapply conditioner,
- repeat step #3 (and do not rinse),

Best on damp, freshly-washed hair as the first step after rinsing — that's when the cuticle's open and absorption is highest. You can also apply lightly to dry hair as a daily refresh; spray water first if hair is very dry.

Standard order: leave-in first on damp hair (penetrates deepest), then curl cream or styling product, then gel last (creates the cast). Each layer locks the previous one in.
Will it weigh my hair down?
Most leave-ins are designed to absorb cleanly. If your hair feels weighed down, you're likely using too much — start with a 50p-coin amount and add more as needed.
