A cold-weather 12V lithium battery that keeps things simple

The SOK 12V 100Ah, model SK12V100H, is built for buyers who want a dependable 12V LiFePO4 battery with a few genuinely useful upgrades already built in. SOK positions it as a self-heating lithium battery with Bluetooth, and the combination makes a lot of sense for RV, marine, trailer, and off-grid users who want solid daily performance without adding extra hardware just to make the battery easier to live with.

Built for people who deal with real cold

One of the biggest practical benefits here is the built-in heater pad. SOK says this battery can be used in temperatures down to -4°F, with charging supported in that range because of the integrated heating feature. That matters for buyers storing a rig outside, camping in shoulder seasons, or using a battery bank anywhere winter is not just a theory. A lot of lithium batteries look fine until the temperature drops. This one is clearly built with that problem in mind.

Bluetooth monitoring without the usual guesswork

SOK also includes Bluetooth 4.0, with battery monitoring through the ABC-BMS app on iPhone and Android. That is a useful feature because it gives you a direct way to check battery status instead of relying on rough voltage guesses or an external display. SOK also notes that state of charge is not initially accurate, and that it takes two full charge and discharge cycles for the reading to calibrate properly, which is the kind of detail buyers actually appreciate knowing upfront.

A serviceable design that stands out

One thing that makes this SOK battery different from a lot of sealed lithium options is the detachable cover with replaceable BMS and cells. That is a big reason people look at SOK in the first place. It gives the battery a more repair-friendly, serviceable feel than many lithium batteries that are completely closed off once they leave the factory. For buyers who care about long-term ownership and not just the first few months of use, that detail carries real weight.

Smart protections working in the background

The battery uses a built-in smart Battery Management System, with protection for overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, short circuits, and high or low temperature conditions. SOK also highlights battery cell auto balancing, which helps support healthier pack behavior over time. For the buyer, the main takeaway is simple: the battery is built to manage normal failure points and operating limits without needing constant attention.

More output than many buyers expect from a 100Ah battery

Even though this is a 100Ah battery, the output is stronger than a lot of basic drop-in options. SOK lists 170A maximum continuous discharge current and 200A peak discharge for 3 seconds. That gives it more headroom for inverter loads, surge events, and tougher day-to-day use than entry-level 100Ah lithium batteries that tap out much sooner. If your setup asks a little more from the battery than lights and phone charging, that extra discharge capability is worth paying attention to.

Charging specs that are easy to work with

On the charging side, SOK recommends a 20A charge current, allows up to 70A maximum charge current, and lists 14.6V as the recommended charge voltage. That gives buyers a battery that can be charged conservatively for battery-friendly everyday use, but still has enough charge acceptance to work well in systems where faster recovery matters.

Easy to grow if you need more capacity later

SOK says the battery supports parallel connection for larger capacity, which is useful for buyers who want to start with one battery and expand later. It also allows series connection up to four batteries, with one important condition: SOK says to use a battery voltage balancer and not exceed four in series. That kind of guidance matters because it tells buyers where the flexibility is, while still being clear about how the battery should be configured properly.

Maintenance-free ownership is still a big advantage

SOK describes the battery as maintenance-free, and for a lot of buyers that is still one of the best parts of moving to LiFePO4. No watering, no acid mess, no old-school battery routine hanging over every trip or season change. You install it, set the system up correctly, monitor it through the app, and spend a lot less time fussing with the battery itself.

Long life, with the kind of numbers buyers expect from lithium

SOK lists this battery with a 4000 to 8000 cycle lifespan and backs it with a 7-year warranty. So the overall message is consistent even if the exact cycle count will depend on use conditions and depth of discharge. Either way, SOK is clearly positioning this as a long-life battery for buyers who want something more durable than a short-term replacement.

Compact enough to fit where older batteries struggle

SOK lists the battery at 27 pounds, with M8 terminals for 5/16-inch lugs. That keeps it much easier to handle than older lead-acid batteries in the same general class, while still giving you 12V 100Ah lithium capacity in a compact case. In real installs, that usually means easier lifting, easier placement, and fewer compromises in tight battery compartments.

Temperature range and certifications buyers usually look for

SOK lists a discharge temperature range of -4°F to 140°F, a charge temperature range of -4°F to 113°F, and a storage temperature range of 23°F to 95°F. The battery cells are also listed as meeting UL1973 and IEC62619. Those details are not the flashy part of the page, but they are exactly the kind of specs buyers tend to check when they are comparing batteries seriously instead of casually browsing.

In Short

What it is

The SOK 12V 100Ah Heated Bluetooth LiFePO4 Battery is a cold-weather-ready lithium battery designed for buyers who want more than a basic drop-in replacement. It combines Bluetooth monitoring through the ABC-BMS app, a built-in heater pad for charging down to -4°F, a smart BMS, and a serviceable design with replaceable BMS and cells in one maintenance-free 12V battery.

Why people look at this one

It is a strong fit for RV, marine, and off-grid users who want better low-temperature usability, app-based battery visibility, and the flexibility to expand later. With 170A continuous discharge, parallel support, and up to four batteries in series with a voltage balancer, it gives buyers a lot more room to build around their actual power needs instead of boxing them into a basic starter battery.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.
