Foliage: Features dense, finely textured, bluish-green needles with silver stripes that retain their colour throughout the winter, providing year-round interest. Size & Form: A slow-growing, ground-hugging shrub that typically reaches only 8–12 inches (0.2–0.3 meters) tall with a spread of up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) at maturity. Hardiness: Extremely cold-hardy and reliably grows in Canadian Hardiness Zone 2a to 6b. Tolerances: It is highly adaptable and drought-tolerant once established, performing well in poor, rocky soils and urban environments. It is also deer and rabbit resistant.
