The Baduy tribe, nestled in the highlands of Banten, remains one of Indonesia’s last guardians of untouched tradition, living without electricity, modern tools, or outside influence. The Baduy Dalam, in particular, uphold a strict code of simplicity, dressing in undyed, handwoven cotton as a symbol of purity and their deep spiritual connection to nature.
