In addition to new advances in engineering listed below, the CoffeeTEAM TS has a redesigned thermal carafe. The carafe itself is still a 10 cup stainless steel vacuum design, which keeps coffee suitably hot for up to 4 hours in a full pot. The new and exciting feature is the lid. The old CoffeeTEAM Therm had a precarious lid that you partially unscrewed in order to pour coffee. The lid on the CoffeeTEAM TS has a release lever just over the handle. Depress the lever with your thumb to pour coffee. Let go and it reseals the carafe.

This new design maintains the protection of the grinder to prevent steam from entering the chamber and clogging it. Overhead space requirements have also been reduced with the new pull-out door for ground coffee that simplifies not only cleaning, but also brewing with pre-ground coffee. Conical Burr Grinder

The Capresso CoffeeTEAM TS still sports the ever popular conical burr grinder that has made them famous. The Capresso CoffeeTEAM TS has the same grinder that is found in the Capresso Infinity Burr Grinder and all Jura-Capresso Impressa Automatic Coffee Centers. This grinder, precision-made in Switzerland, turns slowly to prevent the beans from heating up and losing flavor. Four fineness settings allow for an ideal grind size for light, medium, or dark beans (the lighter the bean, the finer the setting). Simply slide the filter assembly underneath the grinder, turn on the brew cycle (or set the Auto On), and the CoffeeTEAM TS does the rest of the work for you.

Fully Programmable Coffee Grinding and Brewing

The Capresso CoffeeTEAM TS allows you to program the amount of coffee you want to grind: choose from 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups and select mild, regular or strong.
