Light: Bright indirect light is ideal. Can tolerate some direct sun—this is what brings out that gorgeous red colouring. Less light = greener leaves. Don't try for low-light conditions with this one.
Watering: Let the soil dry out between waterings. Hoyas are semi-succulent and prefer to be kept on the drier side rather than soggy.
Temperature: 18-24°C These plants prefer things on the warmer side but don't let them get below 16°C
Potting: These plants like a well-draining mix. Our Airy Aroid mix does the trick
Hot tips: Don’t remove old flower spurs—this is where it will bloom again. Slight stress (bright light + drying out a bit) can encourage flowering.
